Reliable DM target drops huge Arsenal transfer hint – not N’zonzi



Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira has shown his desire to be an Arsenal player for next season.

The 22-year-old midfielder recently liked a caption linking him to Arsenal on social media platform, Instagram. The caption read “very excited about the possibility of this signing being completed.

Arsenal have reportedly offered the midfielder a long-term contract with few modalities remaining before confirming the deal.

The midfielder likened to Veratti is an excellent all-round midfielder known for his passing and tackling ability, and this attributes may have prompted the Unai Emery to sanction a transfer for the 22-year-old. The player is currently on duties with Uruguay and is expected to join the club after the World Cup.

The arrival of Torreira will add depth and the much needed extra bite to the Gunners lightweight midfield. Unai Emery has been busy in the transfer window with Swiss captain Stephen lichtstiener recently unveiled at the club. Also, Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos is reportedly close to agreeing on a deal with Arsenal.

Torreira 22 appeared in 43 games in all competitions last season registering 4 goals. It remains to be seen if he will be announced today or after the World Cup but all pointers indicate the player leaving Italy this summer.
