25 year old Arsenal midfielder, Jack Wilshere recently returned to full action for the gunners on Wednesday in the League cup match against Doncaster Rovers and has got everyone talking about how his return is a major boost for Arsenal. Jack Wilshere who returned to Arsenal during the summer after a season long loan with Bournemouth featured in Arsenal’s Europa League debut match against Cologne as a substitute and had his first start in 493 days in the match against Doncaster Rovers where he played for 90 minutes.

Here are reasons why we believe that Wilshere’s return is good news for Arsenal

Return of Wengerball

The popular Arsenal style of play famously called Wengerball hasn’t been the same since Santi Cazorla suffered an injury against Ludogrets in October 2016. Looking at the current Arsenal side, the person that has the flare, experience and possesses the skills to instigate Wengerball is Jack Wilshere. So the return of Jack Wilshere might well be the return of Wengerball.

More Midfield Options

The return of Jack Wilshere provides the Arsenal Manager, Arsene Wenger with ranges of options depending on the style of play he wishes to adopt. It also provides him with the opportunity to make changes in his squad depending on the competition which helps to minimize the risk of injury and fatigue to players

Competition

Jack Wilshere’s return will also aid healthy competition among Arsenal players which will help to bring the best out of the players. In this case, if any player drops form, he can easily be replaced by the next available option which reduces the tendency of players acting indispensable in the team.

Loyalty

Jack Wilshere is not only loyal to the club but he has proven that he loves the club and will do anything to salvage his spot in the team. It was recently reported that he turned down a move to Turkish side Trabzonspor just to fight for his spot at Arsenal.
