Thibaut Courtois sends transfer plea to Chelsea over Eden Hazard



Real Madrid’s latest signing Thibaut Courtois has made it known during his unveiling at the Santiago Bernabeu that he would be happy to see former team mate Eden Hazard move from Chelsea to Madrid this summer.

The 26-year old was officially unveiled as a Madrid player after his move was finalised for a fee of £35.5million stating that he hopes the supporters of Chelsea would come to terms with his decision.

In an interview, Courtois however made it known that he is aware that Chelsea supporters are presently not happy but he wishes them the best and hoping he would be remembered.

When asked by a Belgian journalist about Hazard, Courtois says he was congratulated by Hazard and he is aware of his utmost wish to be with Madrid, he also stated that it would be a great feeling if Hazard can join him, in his words “He is a great player and if he could come here, it would be fantastic.”

Meanwhile, Madrid has listed Hazard as one of the possible signings Madrid will be making in a bid to replace Cristiano Ronaldo that left for Juventus.

However, Hazard has also express interest in joining Madrid after helping his Country secure a third place position in the World Cup but the Blues don’t appear willing to release him.
