Three reasons Arsenal fans should be excited about Aubameyang transfer

It has emerged in recent days that the Gunners are ready to break their transfer record to bring the Gabonese international to London. Aubameyang could be an Arsenal player before the end of the January. The Gabonese Star has recently fallen out of favour with the German giants Dortmund. However, here are three reasons Arsenal fans should be excited.

He is a world-class striker

The last time a reliable striker played for Arsenal was in 2012 when a certain Robin van Persie played for the Gunners and scored 31 premier league goals. Aubameyang is the closest thing to the Dutch striker in goals ratio with the Dortmund star scoring 31 goals last season to top the scorers chart in the German league. Any striker that can outscore Lewandowski while playing for a less talented team is worth the hype.

He links up well with Mkihitaryan

Mkihitaryan was the chief creator for the Gabonese star during his time in Dortmund with the Armenian contributing 15assist of which many of the assists were finished by Aubameyang. The two players were the main protagonists in an exciting Dortmund attack. It is mouth-watering to imagine an Arsenal line up with Ozil, Mkihitaryan , Aubameyang and Lacazette. This would be one of the deadliest attack in the Premier League.

Aubameyang could be the boost Arsenal ever needed

Arsene Wenger is renowned for having immense faith in youth players in the past but has been changing in the past few years, with the Gunners signing of Ozil, Sanchez, and Mkihitaryan. The Gabonese international would be a statement signing to Arsenal’s rivals that the Gunners are capable of attracting the best players. Although losing a player of Sanchez’s calibre is difficult for the fans, replacing him with Aubameyang would go a long way to placate discontent fans.

Arsenal need to spend the money. Aubameyang is the missing piece up front. He will make Lacazatte better and he make Ozil and Miki to be more creative. I have seen Arsenal waste money before by spending on unwanted players. This one is worth £60 million. Think about it Arsenal was willing to pay £90 million for Lamar. His is young yes but but not as fast as Aubameyang and Auba is a real striker

So how do we play him and Lacazette in the same line up ? Wenger plays one of them out of position ?
