Tottenham defender Kyle Walker wanted by Swansea

English international Kyle Walker-Peters is reportedly wanted on loan by struggling Premier League side Swansea in the January transfer window. Swansea manager Paul Clement wants to bolster his squad ahead of a potential relegation battle in the second half of the season and wants to make the highly rated youngster serve as competition to Kyle Naughton at right back.

The English defender had a spectacular debut against newly promoted side Newcastle at the opening weekend of the season in which Spurs won one nil, and he was named man of the match after his impressive display against the Magpies.

After an impressive display against the Magpies, many believed he was going to be provide strong competition for Kieran Trippier after the departure of Kyle Walker to Premier League leaders Manchester City in the summer in a deal worth over £50 million, but the arrival of Ivory Coast international Serge Aurier in the summer has made the youngster fall down the pecking order and is currently the third choice right back at the North-London club.

According to reports from English publication The Sun, the North-London outfit are ready to allow the highly rated youngster secure a loan move to any interested suitor in the January transfer window in other to aid his development as a player and get more playing time.

The 20-year-old has been limited to just three appearances so far this season and was part of the team that won the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Suwon, South Korea. He recently penned a new deal at Spurs that runs till 2020.
