United confident of completing transfer of flamboyant winger, £60M sees deal done

Brazilian winger Willian has been repeatedly linked to a move away from London to Old Trafford.

News making the rounds in England claims that United are confident of signing the 29-year-old this summer.

United coach Mourinho has apparently submitted his ‘little list of transfer targets’ and Willian is reported to included therein. Mourinho reportedly believes the centre back position and right wing position are in dire need of strengthening ahead of next season.

However United are not the only club interested in the Brazilian as latest reports claim Barcelona have entered the race for the pacy forward. It is believed that both clubs have offered Chelsea £60 million for the services of the flamboyant winger.

Willian was coy when quizzed about his future at Chelsea, as he told reporters that his focus was solely on the World Cup. However it is believed with the elimination of Brazil in the quarterfinals, he wants his future resolved quickly.

Willian, known for his work rate and pace, has been an integral cog in the blues set up for the past few days. Willian fell out with Antonio Conte last season and was dropped for the FA Cup final game against Manchester United. Notwithstanding, he was voted by his teammates as the Players Player of the Year.
