Malachi Walcott have agreed terms with Tottenham which will see him star for the Hotspurs academy on a spurs scholarship deal that will run until 2020.
The contract has come in form of a scholarship contract which according to professional analysts and football experts is the first major step on the road to the big time.
To secure such a deal at a club like Tottenham is a huge honor and also a firm examination of the young player’s credential reports have claimed.
Malachi is a defender by trade and has earned a Spurs scholarship contract through sheer determination and his performances at centre-back.
He is filled with pace and possesses a huge frame which has helped him put on performances that have earned him and England youth cap, and perhaps also set him up to break into one of England’s elite clubs.
Walcott’s worry is to ensure he convinces the bosses at the academy by having an impact that will make his journey to professional contract a brisk and a rewarding one.
If he can pull this off he will join the likes of Harry Kane, Winks, Danny Rose, Tom Carroll etc. who graduated from the club’s academy into the first team.
These players did not rest on their laurels as they have also gone to become regulars for the spurs senior side in recent years.
