Good News: Man United target told he can leave in the January transfer window

Belgium international, Yannick Carrasco has been told he is surplus to requirements at the Wanda Metropolitano by manager Diego Simeone and he is free to leave in the winter transfer window according to reports from the Sun.

The Belgian winger has found games hard to come by after falling out with key members of the coaching staff and his team-mates.

The 24-year-old enjoyed a brilliant start to his career at the Wanda Metropolitano having joined the Los Rojiblancos for €20 million from French side, AS Monaco in the summer of 2015 on a five year deal, but his attitude off the pitch has seen him fall down the pecking order so far this term.

However, reports from English publication understands the Belgian could be available for a release clause of £86million and could be the subject of a two-way transfer battle between Premier League champions, Chelsea and English giants, Manchester United with both sides keen to bolster their squad in the January transfer window.

He has featured in 17 games for the Los Rojiblancos, 9 from the bench whilst scoring three goals and providing the same number of assists.

The former Monaco winger is known for his pace, versatility, dribbling, long shots, short passes and his ability to cut inside.

Although, there is a question mark on his attitude but given his age and massive ability, he will be a quality addition to any Premier League side he eventually plays for.
